Educational Visits Coordinator/Finance Assistant

37 hours per week, term time plus 5 days and training days
Scale point: 14-16 (Actual salary £25,721 – £26,573)
We are seeking to employ a reliable and efficient person to support Macmillan Academy with its ambitious programmes of: learning outside the classroom, educational visits, outdoor learning and all other offsite provision. Alongside this role you will also support the academy’s finance department as Finance Assistant. The Finance department is a small supportive and friendly team who are committed to developing all members of their staff.
Working five days per week, the post will require candidates to have the ability to plan, prioritise and organise, as well as having excellent communication skills. Experience of working in an administrative or finance role is essential. Experience of working in a secondary school is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Macmillan Academy is situated in Middlesbrough on Teesside and was rated good by Ofsted in the most recent inspection. We have over 1500 students on roll, including 300 in Post 16. Our strong reputation for academic success is matched by our desire to provide a holistic education for every student.
